Building Insurance

It is a requirement of the Lender that Buildings insurance is in place on any property which they have a mortgage. It is the responsibility of the person taking out the mortgage to make sure this is in place. Lenders offer their own buildings insurance however it may be more competitive to seek comparison quotes.

Contents Insurance

Although Contents insurance is not a requirement by the mortgage lenders it is strongly recommended that you have the contents of your property insured.

The contents cover all moveable objects e.g. furniture, jewellery, valuables etc within your house against loss, damage or Theft.
